With wacky rhymes and zany artwork, it tells the tale of the disgruntled Grinch and his fiendish attempts to steal Christmas from the citizens of Who-ville. Hilariously funny and wildly inventive, Universal Pictures' blockbuster movie Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, starring the irrepressible Jim Carrey (of The Mask and The Truman Story fame), directed by Ron Howard (Apollo 13 and Happy Days), and scripted by the writers of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, promises to be the Christmas movie of the year, and many years to come. The film will be supported by a massive marketing and publicity campaign, starting in the Summer and building up to a crescendo of activity by the UK release date of 1 December 2000. Events include nationwide bookshop promotions and advertising campaigns on TV and radio, on-line, in print, and in-stadium (including the Olympics!). Major promotional partners include one of the leading burger chains, and an extensive merchandising programme comprises a wealth of consumer products from toys, gifts and interactive video games to clothes and household goods.Hide synopsis

Dr. Seuss shines brightly in this holiday favorite. This story explores feelings of rejection, oddity, peace, love, and forgiveness. I recommend this story for the entire family anytime of year. We need to keep the lessons of the Who's in our hearts everyday.
This book is a must for every home library ...
