Intoduction to a thrilling writer Jul 16, 2009

This is John Sandfords first in the series and I finally read "Rules" after reading many other of the 'Prey' books. I think he is a great storyteller, wonderfully descriptive, with characters and background to enthrall and capture your imagination and attention, Sandford never fails to make my reading enjoyable and entertaining. He is a must for those who like fast, interesting and exciting action in their reading prose.

If you're the series type, you've just found one that will capture your interest from the very first page. Rules of Prey is the first in this series about homicide detective Lucas Davenport and his no nonsense, to hell with the rules attitude for catching the bad guys. This is a great book to start off a great series.
