Without question, this is the best book I've ever read about WWII. The author looks at the war through multiple points of view: British, German, American & Russian. He puts you into the rooms where the generals meet and plan and in the battlefields where the soldiers fight. Well written, characters ...

The book is well written. That said, I have my doubts as to some of the thoughts that the characters speak are either close to true, or in some cases realistic. Other than that it is a good, but not great read.
