A completely revised and updated edition of this classic Wisden Library title. To the 994 score cards of the previous edition have been added details of a further 132 Test matches taking the records up to the end of the 1989 English cricket season. As the material has now become too lengthy to include in one volume, it has been divided into two: Volume I (1877-1977) carries score cards for the first hundred years of Test Cricket up to and including the Centenary Test. Volume II (1977-1989) carries score cards from 1977 through to the end of the 1989 season together with the records section and the index of Test cricketers. A new feature in this edition is the use of close of play scores for each Test, enhancing the book's claim to being the most comprehensive record of Test cricket available. Original source material has been used to ensure absolute accuracy; the book is an invaluable reference work for cricket followers everywhere.
