As always the interesting plot line, the excellence of her dialogue and the perfection of her characterizations make this one of her best books. Ms. Heyer's heroines become more interesting and her heroes more genuine in her later books. She found her audience and can still enthrall them.
This is the second Heyer I've purchased from Alibris and I was extremely pleased with both. This was an early edition HB with an intact dust jacket in very good condition. It looked like it was brand new! It was especially nice to have a plastic cover included -- something I've never gotten with eBay ...
