Thick quarto, 750 pgs., wonderful color reproductions thruout. Also includes a Fine example of publisher's cardboard slipcase. Text in Spanish, published by the Fundacion de Apoyo a la Historia del Arte Hispanico.
Sorolla is a great painter, and his work is an inspiration to me as a painter too. He is not very well known in the USA but should be. The work at the Hispanic Society in NYC is worth the visit for those how don't know his work. The show at the Prado is inclusive of his best works, many from his home/studio museum in Madrid.
