by David S on 05 January 2012 Without question, this is the best book I've ever read about WWII. The author looks at the war through multiple points of view: British, German, American & Russian. He puts you into the rooms where the generals meet and plan and in the battlefields where the soldiers fight. Well written, characters sharply drawn.
