"I loved this book. Where was this book when I was single and cooking for myself? Although I actually used some of these recipes in my single days, this is an excellent book for women that want to learn how to eat better. It's realistic, fun, and almost everything is tailored for single servings. It's not like other cookbooks that tailor the ingredients for feeds 6 and you have to 1/6 all of the ingredients. HA!"

I eat one serving and then I'm forced to choke down 3 more servings as left overs. Growdy. I always end up throwing food away. That's depressing. "My library had this as 641.5635 LIL 6a in the Dewey Decimal System. I'm on Weight Watchers, so I skipped most of the recipes and read the beginnings and the Survival Guides at the back of the book...excellent! I found the writing style calculated to appeal to those with a limited attention span, but that's OK. This was never intended to be literature. I give it one star for writing style and five stars for quality of content, averaging out at a 3. I'll be trying a recipe from the book."
"While I like Hungry Girl's 200 under 200 better, this cookbook is still great! Lots of awesome tips and food substitutions make it easy to serve low-cal and low-fat alternatives to some of my favorite foods. Great ideas in general even though some of their "staple" foods are hard to find in regular grocery stores.
The book is easy to read and most of the recipes are easy to make and taste just as good (sometimes even better) than the originals."
