"This is the best comic book I've read from BMB out of Daredevil. Also, Jim Cheung's art is great, better - if possible - than in "Young Avengers", confirming the great expectations generated with "Scion".
It is a book where we join the Marvel's "Illuminati" in the backstage of MU main events since the Kree-Skrull war, with the entire book full of retro-continuity stuff. But, in any case, it's a great book to be read by itself, without knowing about the continuity issues."

"This was really cool. Usually when they have too much power, it gets lame, but this one was incredible. A little disjointed as it was interrupted by several events, but still very fun."
"This is a really cool concept and actually makes some sense. I'm trying to think if something like this has been done before. While it is a team book, I don't think I've seen a team with this level of power. It really lets you explore a whole new level of stories.
For the most part I really liked the stories and how each individual's personality shown through in a new way. Mostly the leaders, Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, Black Bolt, and I guess to a certain extent now Iron Man. They are normally aloof and in a position of responsibility (Namor doesn't seem to care how he's percieved). Here you get to see them with equals and where they can stop pretending to be all knowing and show some human weakness.
The only story that bothered me was with the Beyonder. While this seems like something on the level they should be dealing with, in the end it seemed pointless. All it served to do was annoy me with their explanation of the Beyonder's possible origin. I think the Beyonder just wanted company and implanted this idea of his origin.
Of course now I'm really interested in the Secret Invasion. I like how it brought them all back together. At least for a moment."
