"Excellent book, one of my quilting guilds is having a workshop so we can make her sample squares following her tv series. Should be fun. I've made quilts following her innovative instructions before and have enjoyed the sewing."
"I borrowed a copy of this from mom, and within a week I made a 50" x 50" wall hanging! I loved it! Probably some of my enthusiasm comes from the fact that I'm also somewhat of a history buff, so I love making quilts that have some connection to history. (We'll be raffeling off the wall-hanging to raise money for a student trip to Europe to study WWII sometime this school year.)
I'd say it's a great book for an intermediate-level quilter (like myself). The instructions are fantastic - clear illustrations & very detailed. It gave me the confidence to try a few things I'd never attempted before: an appliqued border, Y-seams, etc.
