"No. 1 (Secret Vampire): As the beginning of the series, this book defiantly overthrows Twilight. The book puts a great twist on vampire myths. The twist is much more realistic than Twilight to say the least. And the secret crushes between the two... STELLAR!!! I'm not saying I don't like Twilight, I'm saying that these books are defiantly better. No. 2 (Daughters of Darkness): This book is the most addictive in my opinion. The steady and gradual changing of the character's personality throughout the book captures you even more. Ash, who started out as a bit of a jerk, ended the book being the dream boy. The almost mystery is fantastic! As the series is a romance, this book is much more of a combination between mystery and romance. It's like that delicious chocolate-strawberry milkshake! Two completely different flavors all mixed up to make one delicious treat! No. 3 (Spellbinder): I oddly found this one most interesting, due to the beginning. I completely skipped the beginning after a while, though. And when I got to the middle, oh my goodness, I couldn't put it down! The book explains that witches aren't green or grotesque, but are just like us. I loved that, as I have always thought the same. The twists put into this were simply amazing and quickly captured your attention!"
"Secret Vampire: James and Poppy have known each other since they were little, and Poppy thinks it's her dream to be with James. Poppy gets diagnosed with terminal cancer, and the only way for her to survive is for James to turn her into a vampire, like himself. . .
Daughters of Darkness: Jade, Kestrel, and Rowan Redfern move in to live with their great-aunt, only to find out she's been murdered, by someone who knew she was a vampire. Mary-Lynnette sees them burying something in the backyard and tries to figure out what has happened to Mrs. Burdock. The nieces' brother Ash comes to try and bring them home and ends up finding his soulmate. Mary-Lynnette's brother Mark finds his soulmate as well. All is far in love and war. . .
Spellbinder: Thea and Blaise Harman have been sent to too many schools to count, but only because they keep getting expelled. Blaise has a "gift" for leading guys on and making them do what SHE wants. Thea finds her soulmate, and accidently lets a terrible spirit out into reality. Can she save them all, before the spirit kills another person? Can she give up everything?"
"This book is a collection of three short books the first two of which focus on vampires and the last is on witches. The first two are loosely connected as a minor character in the first one is the main character in the second. The three have one thing in common, all the supernatural beings belong to a society called Nightworld. Nightworld has rules and they can't be broken. Or at least, if you do break them, be prepared to run or fight. Of the three, I like Secret Vampire the best. It's an interesting idea--if you were dying of a terminal disease and you had the opportunity to cure yourself but the cure would involve becoming a vampire, would you? And if you were the vampire who could do this but it would break one of the rules of the society you belong to, would you? Daughters of Darkness, the second is a more conventional romance, a vampire who falls for a human (the irony being that he has publically stated that humans are second class citizens). They find that they are soulmates but that doesn't necessarily mean that they wind up together. That's mostly because the human girl in the picture isn't sure she wants to be soulmated with a vampire. Spellbinder follows two sisters (witches) as they start a new school having been kicked out of the last one. One of them finds herself falling for a local boy, the other tries to steal him away. The usual stuff. All three stories are engaging and actually aren't too long so that you lose interest. The endings are a bit short changed but not too bad. Overall fun."
