"Greg Heffley is a lazy middle school kid that spend most of his summer staying inside, playing video games and watching t.v. But his mother has other plans like going to the water park. All added up Greg pretty much had a stinky summer. Hey peoples!! This is a review of diary of a wimpey kid. Well to make things short and less difucult,THIS BOOK IS OFF THE CHAIN !!!!!!!!!!WHY DON'T YOU HAVE IT ALLREADY!!!!!!!??? GET IT!!!!!!!! Yeah you should get the book. It has personality and is good for kids who are super duper board. I liked the part when Greg went on that CRAZY carnival ride. I recomend it alot"
"The Diary of a Wimpy Kid is the best book ever written! I loved every single chapter of it. It is so funny. Greg is also funny and very witty. My favorite part was the one where they had watched the horror movie and Greg thinks that the muddy hand is going to get him. So he climbs into bed and covers his entire face, except for his mouth. Then Rodrick sticks the dirty sock into his mouth. I hope Jeff Kinney makes more books. And I hope to hear more humor. I would recommend it to anyone who likes zaniness and realistic fiction."
With that being said, I think the other 3 were better. His "deservedness", which happens as kids get older, really bothered me. "I told Mr. Jefferson twenty dollars would brobably do it. But all he was willing to offer me was a dollar."
The part that really made me chuckle was the mens locker room scenes. My son, Graham, was traumatized by that once. When he has was rescuing his little brother, Manny, that was so funny. The summer album was hilarious too."
"I would say this part of the Wimpy Kid series is on par with the other books. It's not life changing by any means, but the story is entertaining to read, and Greg goes about his business in his typical, dorky way.
The parts of the book I enjoyed most were his mother's failed attempts at getting the family to do something "memorable" together over the summer vacation. Their trip to the water park was particularly funny because it reminds me of some of my trips to water parks in Orlando as a kid that were rained out.
If you're looking for a book that will take less than a day or two to read, then you have found your book."
