"This book was good in the fact that it does state different experiences of women who have come to Islam and how thier families felt about thier conversion to Islam."
"I read this book when I first started looking into Islam, and it was a great book in that it gave perspectives of women who became Muslim and the challenges they faced. It helped to prepare me for the challenges I faced as I went through the process. Anyone thinking of becoming Muslim should read this, and also the families of new Muslims because it helps them to understand their family member's decision just a little more."
"I liked the writing style of this book and how it was more into telling the story than just displaying facts. This isn't a book where you are going to learn about Islam as much as convert's experiences and their families reactions. I really enjoyed how it went into how the attitudes changed over time."
"An interesting book. I think alot of information was left out. I got the impression that the Author (A Christian Mother) knew very little about Christian theology and apologetics - or anything seriously religious for that matter. I learned from these women that Rules are what guides them. None of them seemed to have a vast knowledge of Islam. I would like to know how these women would respond if one of their children choose to follow a different path (like Homosexuality or being a rock musician?). Would they be as open and Loving as they expected other people to be towards them? Probably NOT!"
