"Fills a gap in the writings about the leadership abilities of Abraham Lincoln. It is a guide in simple, practical format that looks at the storytelling and wisdom Lincoln used to focus on people, character, endeavor and communication."
"What an interesting marriage between some of the history of Abraham Lincoln and leadership skills for today. I thoroughly enjoyed the background and history of Lincoln in each chapter especially since I didn't know a lot of that. The author talks about the 'myth' of Abraham Lincoln and since I only studied him in grade school, I think I probably know more of the myth and less of the actual man. I only wanted a little bit less explanation of how one could implement his particular leadership skills today. Although, the box full of bullet points recapping the 'how to' at the end of each chapter was good. All in all, interesting and worth reading."
