"Feynman has his own unique style to writing and if you can get into his mode you will enjoy this book. He tackles the subject of science, as well as touches on other topics, with practical ideas and entertaining thoughts. He has a sense of realism and honesty to him that only accentuates his ability to bring his ideas to the reader. Not dry if you get his humor and are able to open up your mind to his way of presenting the information to you. This is definitely a more relaxed way of learning science. Highly recommend."
"This is a quick, enjoyable read, full of well-presented, interesting ideas. Because it is a transcript of lectures, the prose is occasionally rambling or disjointed. Some of Feynman's unanswered questions on the reconciliation of science and religion that he posed to the audience could have been given, I think, more effort--he was enough of a luminary to contribute more to the answering of classic problems, not just posing them."
"A lovely, humorous collection of lectures regarding physics and ...well...the world. Absolutely fantastic. Additionally, my friend Alex resident fan/defender of Macs and Apple, will be happy to hear this bit of trivia from Wikipedia regarding Feynman:
"Apple's 'Think Different' ad campaign featured photo portraits of Feynman that appeared in magazines and on posters and billboards. One showed him in his early days as a teacher at Caltech. The other showed him toward the end of his life. That ad shows Feynman wearing a Thinking Machines T-shirt, a company where he had served as a consultant.""
