"This is an excellent book for those already very, very familiar with Tai Qi forms. But even those of us with moderate training might find it hard to follow some of the diagrams of the form that Waysun Liao gives us.
On the other hand, the author gives extremely important information about the inner meaning of each movement in the form, which is invaluable. This would be very helpful to intermediate students or perhaps even very dedicated beginning students.
I believe the writer achieved his aim, but the reader must know what the book offers, and it wouldn't be the book I'd choose to try to learn the actual form. It is an EXCELLENT book for UNDERSTANDING the form."
