"I can't honestly recommend this book to most would-be writers, because Ray Bradbury's experience as a writer is most likely very different that less talented/inspired writers. It was possible for Ray to write publishable stories in one draft (the only other writer I know who can do that is Stephen King), so you will find nothing about the editing process in this book. There is very little about the craft of writing here. It is mostly about how he feeds his muse."
"Fun - freeing - and travelled me back to many memories long unnoticed. Has me juiced up for getting pen to paper! I also want to go back and catch up on my Ray Bradbury reading!"
"This was somewhat autobiographical, and that is what made it so easy to read. Being a fan of science fiction, it was really great to hear about how Mr. Bradbury kept his imagination fostered over the many years that he has blessed us with his thoughts and visions of what is to come or the possibilities of impossibilities that we can overcome. This is a great general book when it comes to learning how to write for yourself and keep yourself fresh. From one master to future generations, I highly recommend this book to all people wanting to go into writing. It's quite inspiring."
