"Didn't read all of the book because after the first few chapters I didn't seem to be on the same thinking as the author and didn't want to continue. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be."
"2 1/2 stars for this book. I liked how Elizabeth Lesser focused on how to just be in the moment. Not to dwell on past hurts, faults, failures, or bad things that happened to you in childhood. We grow as humans from good and bad things that cross our paths through life. That is what makes each one of us unique and special. It is easy to drum up past hurts in your life and not be able to let go. To move onto the next thing that may enter your life. As The Beatles say "Let It Be." Wise words!"
"A must read for anyone who is going through a difficult period in their life. The book is enlightening, refreshing and gives you a postiive perspective on today and a happier tomorrow. You won't be disappointed!"
"You know, my family is going through some difficult things right now, so I was hoping for a little more insight into how to cope with things. I found this book kind of disappointing. I felt like the author just regurgitated advice and info from a variety of already established sources and leans very heavily on other's writings. This isn't necessarily bad, but I don't feel like she added anything to the argument or organized the info in any particularly interesting or helpful way. Maybe I cope with things better than it feels sometimes. I just don't feel like this book did anything for me and I found myself debating whether to finish the book on several occasions. I did end up skimming the last 25 pages or so."
