"I was a little skeptical during my first listen, but after a few more listens, I fell in love. Challengers is a deviation from the typical New Pornographers sound (i.e. pop to the extreme) in that it's paced a bit slower. There are, however, songs that definitely sound more like their older material (All the Things that Go to Make Heaven and Earth, Mutiny I Promise you). Standout Tracks: - Challengers (my all-time favorite New Pornographers song) - Go Places"
