I dont understand why it took 24 days for this book to arrive (2 weeks just to let me know that it was shipped)

Reason for only a neutral overall score, despite positive ratings elsewhere, is that I felt the postage and packing charges of ?8 were excessive for a slim book measuring only 5.5 x 3 inches.
