Very Good. A collection of short stories from Alan Sillitoe, chosen to contrast and reflect the continuing appeal of his storytelling. The stories include his earliest story, "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner". Trade paperback (US). Glued binding.
Dispatched, from the UK, within 48 hours of ordering. This book is in good condition but will show signs of previous ownership. Please expect some creasing to the spine and/or minor damage to the cover. Ex-library book. This is an ex-library book and therefore has stamps throughout. It is also likely to have considerable shelf-ware. It is however still in useable condition, and a great read. Thanks. Damaged book. Please note this is a damaged book. The condition of this book is as stated above, however this book is slightly damaged in some way. Typically a grazed corner or torn cover. Thanks.
Very Good. 586 p. This is a collection of short stories. Ranging from Alan Sillitoe's earliest classic to his most recent fiction, these stories are chosen to reflect the timelessness of his storytelling. It is published to coincide with his biography "Life Without Armour".

Good. Ex-Library Book-will contain Library Markings. Light shelving wear with minimal damage to cover and bindings. Pages show minor use. Help save a tree. Buy all your used books from Thriftbooks. Read. Recycle and Reuse.
Some minor toning to pages else very fine in very fine unclipped dj. First Edition. First edition, with "Published by Flamingo 1995" and full number line on the copyright page. A review copy with sticker on the front panel of the dj stating "Advance Copy" which advertises a "HarperCollins World Trade Paperback Original". This British hardcover is uncommon, due to a small first printing-possibly because Flamingo may have decided to skip the hardcover issue of this 586-page story collection. Why else would HarperCollins use a hardcover as an ARC for a paperback? 8vo blue boards. An unusually nice copy of this large book. (Because of its weight, this book will require extra postage if shipped out of the United States).
Good. Spine creases, wear to binding and pages from reading. May contain limited notes, underlining or highlighting that does affect the text. Possible ex library copy, that'll have the markings and stickers associated from the library. Accessories such as CD, codes, toys, may not be included.
