This is my second copy of this book, because I read it so often the pages were falling apart. Amy Carmichael has been a mentor for well known Christian leaders such as Elisabeth Elliot. Her books were originally written for those she was serving in her ministry, but demand eventually caused them to be published for the Christian community at large. This book is a good book for a Christian to examine themselves whether they are demonstrating true Christlike love or not. A paragraph on each page makes it easy to digest and refer to over and over. I highly recommend this book for any Christian who would like to deepen his/her understanding of genuine Christlike love.
