Between 2009 and 2014, Markus Stenz and the Gürzenich Orchester Köln recorded the symphonies of Gustav Mahler for Oehms Classics, giving powerful live performances that were captured in vivid multichannel sound. This 2016 box set brings these recordings together on 13 CDs, instead of the hybrid SACDs that were originally released.
