Seller's Description:
Very good in good jacket. Large quarto, 13.25 x 13.25 inches, publisher's red boards in dust jacket, book very good, some of the middle gatherings a little proud, jacket good plus with light edgewear, some chipping to head of spine and small chip to rear panel. Laid in is a SIGNED SERIGRAPH, possibly of a guy surfing but it's hard to tell; very good with light toning and faint wear & soil to edges. Nicola Simbari (1927-2012) was a popular Italian post-war realist, with bold bright colors reminiscent of Karl Appel's work.
