This a book you will read a little at a time, night after night. Made up of many articles from A to Z, you will find reading one article leads to another and you will spend your time going back and forth in the book. One aspect of the book I found revealing was how much the classical world influenced the Islamic world. Some articles can be very technical, particularly the articles about philosophy, so you will need to brush up on your scholarship. Very glad I bought this book.
