Very Good in Very Good jacket. Signed by Author First printing, stated first (Canadian) edition. Text is Nearly Fine with no wear, no owner's marks. Only flaw is offsetting to ffep from contemporary newsclipping on fep: photo of author and family onboard the Empress of Asia enroute to Asia where he "plans to study the underworlds of Hong Kong, etc." Dj is Very Good with light edge-wear, one very short edge-tear to the rear panel, slight dustiness to the white areas. A superb copy, rarely found signed and in such condition.

Contents unmarked, basically clean and book is covered in a flawless facsimile jacket so book "presents" like new. A terrific copy of this mystery by the author of the "Jimmie Dale" series.
