As I read this book, I told my friends about it. While the writer seems fanatical at times, and I didn't follow the instructions to the letter, the procedures helped me to get rid of piles of unwanted possessions and to keep those that bring me joy. At first, the process was difficult, but after a while, there was space in the closets, space in the house, and space in my mind. Marie Kondo's philosophy of gratitude was my favorite section of the book. I realized that being grateful for what I have, rather than being resentful, is a key to happiness.

life changing truly
I am now partway into my process of tidying up and find my experience to be similar to others' who are using Marie's method. It works! I have already told many friends and family about Marie's book and YouTube videos.
