What is an account salutation?

Your account salutation is the name by which we address you on the Web site, or in confirmation e-mails or newsletters.

When you create an Alibris account, we begin using the name you gave us in the "first name" field as an account salutation. You may update your account salutation at any time, by updating your preferences in Your Account.

How can I change my account salutation?

If you prefer that we address you differently on the Web site, or in confirmation e-mails or newsletters, you may update your account salutation in Your Account.

Here's how:

1. Click the Your Account link from the upper-right corner of any page on our Web site.
2. Scroll down to the "Update your account salutation" section.
3. Enter a new account salutation.
4. Enter your password to authorize the change.
5. Click the Update button. You're done!
