This sequel is nearly as good as Aztec.
The gimmick of finding unknown offspring to continue the story is a little much.

Gary's problem
The book, like its predecesor, is well written, documented and entertaining. One thing that I found distateful (as in the first book), was the repetitious incestual relationships and homosexual encounters. The book's historical background alone would've kept readers glued to the content, without having to add shock value to it.
