Great reading. I learned a lot about what was going though George's head during the Beatles days and in his solo career. He was a great man.

Chronological overview
While this is a fair overview of what happened when in George Harrison's life, the book is a secondary source, drawing information from other biographers and previous interviews. It lacks a cohesive theme that fills out an interesting life, except George's moods and how his actions contrast to his reported spiritual beliefs.
I recommend this book to understand chronology, but I found it hard to get a picture of the person, except that he seemed depressive and reclusive at times, despite his talent and his search for meaning.
