Twenty one annotated games illustrated these fundamentals of good chess play in the style made famous by the classic 'My System.

His first published book, just before "My System". The translators (1980) include some other of his articles, with a couple of game duplications that are not clearly marked as such. It's still quite interesting and surprisingly fresh even when the reader already knows the concept. Recommended for all level of chess playing strength. It's shorter than its 64 pages, but that makes it a quicker read.
