I?m not a big fan of baseball, but I did enjoy this quick short story. It did get to detailed and involved with stats and figures for me to understand what they were talking about, but I just kept reading on enjoying the tale. I loved how it was narrated which made me feel as if I was being told a story from my grandfather. I know nothing of the baseball player Billy Blakely, but I was awed by the tale. This is a book you should take to the beach, or while traveling.
