As a committed Wilson fan and an Eddie/Peter Duchin afficianado, I found this book to be totally enjoyable. I could relate to the musical side -- the supper club culture -- and found it a nice addition to the traditional Wilson sleuthing.
The story never lags. The descriptions are excellent -- but that would be expected of Wilson. I was stumped until the end, but didn't find the end to be contrived as sometimes happens with authors of lesser talent.
