For this ambitious effort he is joined by five brass, five strings, a harp, a four-piece rhythm section, and on three songs the fine young singer Lisa Nobumoto. As if that were not enough, Edwards wrote ten of the 12 songs, arranged all of them, takes "Prelude" unaccompanied and plays a bit of clarinet on "Serenade in Blue."
