I vividly remember the conflicting urges to be a good Christian, but feel sexy, so I especially enjoyed her taking a magic marker to a plain white bra. And her poignant description of the deadly burden put on a teen of "witnessing" to unsaved brought back memories of sobbing the whole night of my high school graduation. I loved Jesus, but was a total failure at evangelism (something I later recognized as shyness, plus a respect for others' faiths) and nobody was ever born again after hanging around with me. One night I went with my (secular) friends to a hamburger place next to my church, which was in the midst of a week-long revival and I explained my non-attendance by saying it was like a movie and once you've gone, every night is the same! I look forward to more from this brilliant young author.
