Very Good in Very Good- jacket. Book 233pp text plus 19 pp black and white photo plates. Brown cloth boards with titles on spine in gold and logo/symbol on front board. Shelfwear to spine ends, but binding is tight, spine is straight, and corners are square. Foxing to front and rear free endpapers. Laid-in flyer for The English Folk Dance Society of America-New York branch. Text block clean and unmarked. Slight toning to margins around photo plates but plates themselves aren't toned. Off-white dust jacket with titles on spine and front panel in brown. Spine darkened, two small spots on spine, chips missing from upper and lower spine end, and front flap is price clipped. Evidence of tape repair on inside of lower spine end. Sharp collected folk songs from rural England and the southern Appalachian US in the service of his book English Folk Song: Some Conclusions.
