George Shannon is quite the artist when it comes to writing children's books. He chooses his words carefully to match his audience and those words are woven together in poems and puzzles.
Books like "Climbing Kansas Mountains," "Rabbit's Gift," "A Very Witchy Spelling Bee," "Tippy-Toe Chick, GO!" and dozens of others, are fun for children and fun for the adults reading them. I can't recommend George Shannon's work enough.
