Very Detailed
This is a good book. However, it has a lot of information from the smallest of construction projects to extreme construction. Like other books, and I am not a student anymore, I would have liked more examples and solutions to the chapter reviews. Working problems without solutions is frustrating. This book does go through how to read the charts on heavy equipment and does not inundate you with the physics of engineering; construction is the topic here.

Very good book for the Construction aspect of Civil PE exam. Good in depth look at constrution economics which is important and cement calculations.
