This book can be summarized in a very few words. It is based on the lives of twenty-five Black Americans, and their outstanding accomplishments, even under difficult circumstances. It is a personalized version of some of what we should have learned in high school, but didn't. There are many more historically important African-American that could have gone into this book, I chose only twenty-five to write about because I believe their lives made such an impact on the rest of us, they deserve publication.
