Google "tessellations" and this book is recommended on many sites. An excellent resource for anyone wanting to learn how to create tessellations, whether for quilting or in another medium. Jinny Beyer explains things clearly and includes illustrations to help one understand a very complex topic. Highly recommended!

Must-Have for All Quilters
Jinny Beyer is known in the quilt world as one of the best, and her tessellations book is proof that she knows what she is talking about. Her instructions are in-depth, her explanations are clear and concise, and her exploration of the topic is thorough. The illustrations are clear and easy to follow. I would recommend this book to all experienced quilters. A bonus when I ordered this book -- it was autographed by the author! Definitely worth including in my quilt library.
