This is a wonderful book for those who, like me, are interested in learning the details of letterform design and history.
It is a beautifully-designed and produced book, and the content is clear, direct, concise, and logically organized.
The attention to detail throughout is at a very high level, and it provides a great example of the huge difference that adhering to high standards can make.
Both the depth and breadth of Designing Type have been masterfully managed so the book will be interesting and useful to both novices and knowledgeable readers.
I cannot think of any way in which this book could be improved. Highly recommended.
