I was lucky enought to have the opportunity to view this book while working in the Fashion Industry several years ago when it was first published and I kick myself every day for not purchasing a copy at the time. I have since began collecting books on Fashion Illustration and Drawing and I have to say that Bill Thames book on Fashion Drawing is THE BEST BOOK to learn from. Not only is his techniques easy to follow but his illustrations are far above any I've ever seen since. This book,it's techniques and illustrations are timeless and a must have for any up and coming designer. His sections on using markers for colouring and texturing fabrics are a must read. If you are at all interested in learning how to draw fashion or illustrating fashion this is the book that you need to had to your library. For collectors of Fashion books ... this is a must have for your collection.
