Accordingly, Hendrix presents here, grouped into nine categories including Preaching, Living the Faith, Reconstructing the Sacraments, and Singing, a unique collection of writings representative of early Protestant spirituality. In Hendrix's collection, itself magisterial, Luther and Calvin rub shoulders with Urbanus Rhegius and Thomas Cranmer, Zwingli and Melanchthon with Bucer and Coverdale. Even the important women Argula von Grumbach and Katharina Sch???tz Zell find a place here. This volume is guaranteed to be "must" reading for every teacher and student of Reformation Christianity. +
