Weinrich) with that of more recent contributors (e.g. A. Fill, P. Finke, A. Goatly, R. Harris, W.-A. Liebert, P. MnhlhSusler, M. Schleppegrell, W. Trampe). In addition to the original ecolinguistic topics of language interrelation, language endangerment and language pressure, the themes of biological and linguistic diversity (e.g. S. Chawla, B. Schultz, D. Carbaugh, R. Penman, J. Glausiusz, D. Laycock) as well as the ecocritical aspect (e.g. M. Jung, M. Kahn, M. Howlett, R. Raglon, T. Berman) are given due consideration.
