I have read several books on relativity and this by far was the most comprehensive and goes beyond the others. The other talked about relative time and motion.
This book explained special relativity and also went into more detail about the theory of general relativity.
I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a more thorough non-mathematical discussion of both special and general relativity.

great read
Having read a number of books concerning relativity and quantum mechanics over the years, this is the best overview for the layman that i have ever laid eyes on.
of particular interest to me were the descriptions of event horizons, the twin paradox, bell's theorem, and the long struggle to connect relativity to quantum theory.
