this was a hard book to get into but once you do it is very hard to put down it really grabs you

How do I say this without giving away Evermore's entire story...
If after reading this book you feel as if you've been incredibly let down, then I recommend reading L.J. Smith's "Soulmate", part of the Night World series. While not exactly the same it has similar elements to Evermore, and it was published first in 1997.

This book was kind of a Twilight knockoff. There are slight differences between the two that make it worth reading but it's not a huge page turner. If you're dying to read the twilight saga again but (gasp!) tired of reading through the brick-after-brick series over and over again, then I might recommend Evermore.
