It seem that the fans buy the series books as soon as they come out. Then the publishing company releases this great set with all three books plus a family tree poster and the fans shell out more cash. Most collector sets aren't worth the extra price, but this different. If you like fear street this is a nice addition to your collection. I really loved the cover design on the previous three. This thin plastic thing over the cover ruins the lovely art work and the other cover designs from the first and second are not featured. This isn't a big deal and it makes more sense to have the trilogy in a single volume. It takes up less room on your shelf. The family tree is a nice addition. One can study the generations of horror.
