Clarinetist George Lewis is in tune this time around and the primitive but perfectly fitting percussive playing of cornetist Fred Vigorito and trombonist Big Bill Bissonnette work well. The Easy Riders Jazz Band were Bissonnette's group and they loved the ensemble-oriented New Orleans jazz of Lewis.
