My first endeavor into graphic novels could not have been any better. A truly remarkable tale about two unlikely friends. With only a few words per page, I still spent about 10 minutes per page because of the illustrations. Craig Thompson is amazing. A must read for anyone with a heart, even a broken one. His other books are just as wonderful, Blankets, Carnet De Voyage, and his soon to be released Habibi. You can't say you have a library without these books gracing your shelves.
