Very Good. Inscribed by the Author. 96 page softcover monograph, with 61 black and white full page illustrations and 18 color reproductions. Fairly heavy wear to the covers, with rubbing to the edges, bumps to the corners, tanning to the spine, and light soiling to the covers. The lower left corner of the rear panel has a yellow stain that contains itself to the cover. Binding remains tight and secure, and interior is clean and free of markings save for a presentation inscription on the half title from the pre-eminent Crawford scholar Richard Freeman who organized the exhibition for which this is a catalogue. Exhibition was seen in Lexington from February 11-March 4, 1973.
